About the Homestead Reno

I’m a single, tiny, female who has a very old house on a couple of tree-laden acres. My passions being vet medicine, farm-life, homesteads, simple happiness, music, comedy!, and stubbornly “doing it myself”—I want to see just how far this property reno can go. I want to be fully exposed, candid, humiliated, all of it; and let’s learn and go through this together, ey? Wad-da-ya-say! A lot will be on YouTube. This journey is going to be gritty. I hope we can do it together. Community! Love! That’s what’s up!

Last time i was here, on the site, i spent all day working on this particular page and part of the website. Suddenly…the computer froze and ALL WAS GONE.

I have not yet been able to come back to it, and start again from scratch.

Lesson learned…start first in word or notepad, anything that autosaves, or with pen and paper, anything.

we all know the feeling. its sickening. your gut falls. you even deny it for a couple of seconds; or more if you are holding onto the idea that it might be saved “somewhere” in the computer.

Anyway—sorry there has been no updates over here. There WERE. but I’ve got to…get em back together.
