_____

These are the undeniable arbiters of Rural Urbanite Living.

These publications have been the shepherds; giving help, advice, and community to a small few in the beginning. They have maintained their status while helping to spread this once niche lifestyle into the mainstream.

Whether you are brand new, a life-long farmer, or it is still part of your dream for the future; these magazines stimulate your mind and your senses with up to date info and drool-worthy photography.

In the past, I personally read each of these publications when I was dropped into a small farm with minimal first-hand experience & the task of operating it alone for 2 to 3 months. Every question I could even think to ask was addressed and answered thoroughly and fully. Without them, avoidable mistakes and unfortunate incidences--from the moderately annoying to the utter disastrous--would have likely happened. They saved both me and the farm that year.

Ten years later, I still subscribe to these magazines! They are always filled with entertaining, new, and invaluable information.

Good Luck and Much Love, Rural Urbanite Ashley C
